To be fair, Peck, finding a dumb asshole on this board is like finding hay in a haystack.

I understand why he left (he's a nice guy, btw)...but he played at Auburn, and he's going to be yet another example of an Auburn runningback tearing up the NFL, even if Len thinks he's a classic "3 yards and a ton of dust" back (although the 4.52 forty yard dash he ran at the NFL Combine and the 4.45 I personally saw him run when he reported to AU both make that argument sound like it came from somebody whose only glimpse of Brandon Jacobs running the football came from the XBox). BTW, I'm 100% sure that Len had to double check where he went to college before correcting me, simply because you don't actually watch football (let alone college football). Uh-huh...right... So that's why the Giants are talking with the Bills about possibly getting McGahee, because Jacobs is such an animal who can handle 20-30 carries a game through 16 games. Oh wait, almost forgot Peck's a blind mark for any and all things Auburn...EVEN IF THEY NO LONGER ATTEND THE DAMN SCHOOL!!! Dumbass.

Aren't the Broncos trying to get McGahee too?

I have a question. If holds are not an official statistic, why are we using it in this league?

I think we've always used it. At least the last couple of years.

We need to get rid of this "holds" bullshit and switch it to "losses" for pitchers...I'm not drafting a horseshit middle reliever, so ya'll can win that category vs me every week

We've never used holds.

We are using holds and that is final! It was clearly stated in the initial posting of the league rules and NOBODY brought up an issue with it (other than Peck trying to change my entire format) until now. In a league that has this many pitchers, teams are going to end up with relief pitchers that aren't closers anyways. This is a way to make those guys count and to also allow for some more strategy within the game. Don't just knock something because it is new.
I love how everybody complains after we start and want to change things mid-draft. Now that we are 40% of the way through the draft, its too late...deal with it.

Can we add check swings for hits and broken bat singles?

Just so we're clear, suggesting that we change Batting Average, OPS, and "holds" (unofficial statistics go in quotes) to on-base, strikeouts for hitters, and losses = "trying to change Spin's entire format" BTW, not a single player expected to record a hold has been drafted yet, so I think pausing the draft and seeing if a majority of the league would prefer switching "holds" to Losses isn't totally out of the question.

Len, shut the fuck up.
I agree that the draft already started, and granted had I actually been involved long enough to pay attention to the stats sooner, i would have said something earlier. Everything should stay the way it is now that the draft started, but I was just bringing up for the record that the holds idea is retarded.
Carry on.
