Ok...I now have 11 dice rolls (including Peck's late addition) and that is not an even number. If Peck wants in, we need to find another person and fast. Billster has expressed a little interest to me, so find him and get him to sign up.
The draft will start on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM (EST)/ 6:00 AM (PST). If we find another person before that, and they get their dice roll into me before that time, I will post the draft order and the draft can start then.
The first 6 rounds will all have an 8 hour pick clock and the clock will run from 10:00 AM (EST) until 3:00 AM (EST) each day. I will announce any changes to the draft clock as needed, but please don't take all day to make your picks. The faster we get this done, the faster we can all get our teams figured out. If everybody takes the full 8 hours to make their pick, we will only be able to complete one round per week!!! If you know that your pick is up soon and you will be away from a computer, please send a list to someone so they can pick for you. I am on the computer all the time, so I can make picks for people if you send me a list.
Start researching your players now!!! Draft in 65 hours, 25 minutes!!!

I doubt Billster will sign up with the active drafting time period on the league.. it's death to me in California, it's twice as bad for Billster! The draft time for Hawaii would be 3am to 7pm. He'd get skipped every morning. I'm tired of this east coast bias!

Well, I wasn't even thinking when I made the draft window. I am adjusting it to the following, since I believe the majority of the people are on the western portion of the continent.
Clock starts at 10:00 AM (EST) / 7:00 AM (PST) / 5:00 AM (HST) each morning.
Clock stops at 3:00 AM (EST) / 12:00 AM (PST) / 10:00 PM (HST) each evening.
Picks can be made during the "down-time", but the clock won't run on anybody during that time. Example: Team #1 makes their selection at 11:00 PM (EST). The next team has until 2:00 PM (EST) the next day to make their selection. I would hope that this would allow everybody a chance to make their pick.
This time window allows the guys on the right-coast to pick either before they go to sleep at night or when they wake-up in the morning, while also not starting the clock too freakin' early for us left-coasters. Hopefully we won't have any issues with this and everybody will make speedy picks.
-Spin Draft starts in 61 hrs...

Maybe you should move to America, Bill.
-Luke J. -probably wouldn't say that if he, too, lived in Hawaii.

Len is already predicting his horrible draft day moves. That's why I like this system a lot better. I have a championship team for football with a handful of guys I'd love to keep but none of them are really worth giving up a 1st RD pick for. It sucks really, but I know when the 3rd RD comes around my entire team will more than likely still be available and I can grab them there and try to secure a better player in the 1st/2nd RD's. Guzz Damned Guzzy's self-fulfilling prophecy.

Already determined my keepers for next season:
Hanley Ramirez, SS, FLA: Stats don't lie. 121 runs, .300 AVG, .900 OPS... I'm keeping him for years to come. Brandon Webb, SP, ARI: 230 IP, 40+ of them scoreless. Enough said.

Len is already predicting his horrible draft day moves. So tell me Guzz, how did that horribly drafted team look knocking you to the Bronze Medal game? ;D *Probably won't beat Russ, barring an act of God but knocking off two of the top 3 teams in the league...nice.*
