Here is a list of players available for keeping this year. Once again, you must keep two players and we still have the 3-year rule in effect. Years left that you may keep a player will be included in brackets.
And once again, I would advise against keeping someone not on your list, but feel free to keep your kicker.
AJ Frank Gore [2 years left] Chris Johnson
Chris Sidney Rice Calvin Johnson [2 years left]
Lester Rashard Mendenhall Michael Turner [2 years left]
John Miles Austin Andre Johnson
Andreas Greg Jennings [2 years left] Aaron Rodgers
Guzz Ray Rice Steve Smith (CAR) [2 years left]
Russ Randy Moss [2 years left] Adrian Peterson [1 year left]
Alan Maurice Jones-Drew [1 year left] Knowshon Moreno
Brad Larry Fitzgerald [2 years left] DeAngelo Williams [2 years left]
Nick Ronnie Brown [2 years left] LeSean McCoy
Ron DeSean Jackson Vincent Jackson
Spin Shonn Greene Reggie Wayne
Draft order for this year is:
1. Spin 2. Ron 3. Nick 4. Brad 5. Bob 6. Russ 7. Guzz 8. Andreas 9. John 10. AJ 11. Lester 12. Chris

When do we need to get these in... I'm still at odds with which two to keep.

I think we'll start the draft sometime after the 4th of July weekend, so hopefully we can get all keepers in by the end of the month. So everyone has at least until then. I'll make an official last date later.

Much like the baseball league, my keepers this year are the same as last year:
Adrian Peterson Randy Moss

Can I get a new list of people to pick from as keepers? Anybody want to trade me guys they didn't keep?
Guess this is what happens when your team finishes last. I'll get my picks in soon.

It's never a good thing when your leading RB is Mike Bell.

Question about the 3 year limit rule.
Does the rule only apply to one person keeping a single player, or any team keeping said player?
Ex. Russ, you are keeping ADP. Since he only has 1 year left, you can't keep him next season. But, if you would trade him, could the new team keep him and essentially have the 3 year limit reset?

That's correct. I will also be preventing any circumventing of the 3-year rule (I'm looking at you Lester).
Also any players that are designated keepers cannot be traded if the person receiving the player is already keeping two players. For example, a keeper cannot be traded for draft picks straight up.
Also any keeper traded before the season starts will be considered a keeper for the new team. Meaning the team receiving the keeper will be using their first keeper year this season. So if I were to trade ADP, this year would be year 1 of 3 that the player can keep him. If any keepers are traded DURING the season, then there is no keeper penalty for THIS season. So if I were to trade ADP in week 5 or something, then the person would get the rest of this season and up to 3 full seasons to have him.

There should be a rule against trading a player once he his kept for the third time otherwise you're just going to have owners swapping 3rd year keepers all the time.

I cannot help it that I have the ability to think outside the box when it comes to acquiring and retaining talent.
Personally, I think we should change the name from a "keeper" league to a "rental" league as putting a cap on how long you can hold onto someone for is questionable. I could see it in baseball, sure, but football? It's a moot point now, but for many football players their peak years are three seasons long, after that, it would be beneficial to re-enter the draft and take someone else. If someone wants to hold onto a player for their life time why stop them?
I'm sure someone will mention the LT argument. He was great for a short period of time, then he sucked, now he's on a different team. Anywhoo, onto a more pressing matter.
Bob has constantly sucked ass in this league and should be removed. He's like your fat nerdy friend in high school, you're nice to the guy, every so often you throw him a bone, but once you hit college and beyond it's even more of a social fopa to be seen with the guy. I say we replace him with Alan as he is an experienced FF player (he's played in many cash leagues that I have been a part of and he is a real person. Guzz and Spin can verify) and is showing that he can hold his own in the baseball league.

If we lose Bob how will I be able to draft a 2nd team?

If we lose Bob how will I be able to draft a 2nd team? You could always name your team after Bob, you know, keep the spirit alive. BobMVP... It's catchy.

I was gonna post your keepers for you but I was hoping you had an aneurysm during the off-season and would think about keeping Romo.
