Go figure, Peck was skipped at 1:21 AM ET, which means that Len is on the clock, and has been since 1:21 ET...
Zook, get ready to pick sometime tomorrow afternoon...

Shouldn't Len be on auto-skip now due to the fact that we've had to skip him last few rounds? Wasn't that a rule we implemented? If so, I'd say that Lester is free to pick.

Technically Len's only been skipped once (he picked within the time frame in R18). Once he gets skipped in this round, then he'll be auto skipped.

just thought now was a good time to mention that today marks exactly 1 month since this draft started
also thought I'd point out that I'm co-commissioner of a 14-team, 24 round league that finished an email draft in 11 days earlier this week
new rule: if you're ever skipped more than once in a draft, you have to provide a contact phone # to either Russ or Spin in order to be allowed to make up those draft picks

I think you're forgetting, Pecker, that most of us can't sit in front of our computers all day long watching over this draft. That's why we start it early. Compared to most years, this has gone rather quickly. Most of us have phone numbers.. I know I have at least 4 people in this league's #. And again, if you don't like it, you are free to leave instead of bitching about everything.
And Len, dude.. you're the same song and dance every year.. leave a list, leave a phone #, leave something.. your pick holds us up every year, no matter which sport.

i'm not bitching about everything, Brad...but I appreciate that you're quick to respond (I was expecting an 8-hour delay, but I guess you only save those for when you're expected to make a pick)
barring the death of an owner in the league, this shit *SHOULDN'T* take a month, and people shouldn't be getting skipped 4 or 5 times..
the whole point is that you don't NEED to be in front of a computer if the league leadership has contact info. The whole exchange goes something like this:
commissioner: "who u want" owner: "jason schmidt, he rulz" commissioner: "done"
10 hours of time saved

So is it today that we're erecting the Fantasy Baseball Temple to worship Peck and how perfect he is at fantasy sports? I could have swore we were saving that for the end of the season..

You think I haven't tried to keep things moving? Half the time I tell somebody they are up, they say, "Ok, I'll pick here shortly" then 8 hours go by and they end up getting skipped.
And once again, congrats on being in other "better than the commons" leagues. We are all excited for you and wish you the best of luck! If we could only be as good/quick/talented/cool...
